With nearly all the pubs, cafes and restaurants re-opened in May 2021.

There is an Open Indoors slideshow on the Gallery 2021 page of some of the openings.

One of the last to open was Waitrose cafe with restricted hours and menu - not sure about Costa at Tesco, will check.

Paradiso opened to a fanfare as it was closed for so long, Coates and Backwell House have been visited too and meals enjoyed.

The next are the Blue Flame and Moorend Spout, the latteer is offering bookable outdoor pods for those still nervous about mixing (with people not drinks!).

Cafe 119 is working hard to open its extension into what was PS Travel and among the good news is the latest addition to Nailsea's culinary collective is The Ivy Kitchen opens at 8am on Tuesday, June 1, bringing a touch of food heaven to the High Street.

Thanks go to owner Samantha Johnson - good luck with the new venue, and lucky us spoilt for choice as we now have a superb number of cafes, restaurants and pub places catering for all tastes and pockets in our town.

Everything is still subject to Government guidance and advice.

To amend or add details to this list email nailseapeople@gmail.com, thanks.
