Jobs for high flyers

Bristol Airport is hosting its first Jobs Fair in 2023 offering more than 100 vacancies.
The airport will be teaming up with other employers based across the site for an event on Tuesday, March 21, giving prospective candidates the chance to find out more about the variety of permanent roles available including customer service, hospitality, retail, airline handling and security.
The Jobs Fair will also provide an insight into seasonal roles, which are ideal for students or those who just want a taster of working at the airport.
There are over 50 employers operating out of Bristol Airport so there really is something for everyone! 
Represented on the day, amongst others, will be security provider – ICTS; travel catering specialist – SSP; duty free shopping operator – WDF, Boots, Frankie & Benny’s, SOHO Coffee, plus Swissport, DHL, Jet2, Hilton, Europcar, Hertz and special assistance company - OCS.  
Free parking will be available and subsidised travel on the Flyer buses from Weston and Bristol City Centre.
Bristol Airport people director Debbie Hartshorn said: "We are anticipating one of our busiest ever summer seasons this year after the airport experienced a huge increase in passenger numbers during the past 12 months. 
"In preparation, we will be hosting a Jobs Fair in March to showcase a wide range of employers, shift patterns and interesting roles to suit people with different skills and experiences.

Weston Support Services

A commercial cleaning service is currently recruiting for a part-time cleaner in the Nailsea area.
The early morning cleaning times are

Monday to Friday three hours per day 6-9am.
Duties will include sweeping and mopping hard surface floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting edges & ledges, and generally keeping the building clean and tidy.
While previous cleaning experience would be helpful, this is not essential as f
ull training will be provided. However, must be reliable.

Twice as Pretty

A Nailsea beauty business is twice as nice now as it has two outlets in the town.

The hair salon at 16 Kingshill is called Pretty and the new nail and lashes salon at 47 High Street is called Too Pretty.

The official opening of the High Street salon which has three beauty treatment rooms with a pedicure area and two nail stations is on Friday evening, January 6, with plans afoot for a refurb at Kingshill.

Birnbeck re-enablement services will provide domiciliary care and support to tenants to live as independently as possible at Bennett Court the new building next door to Brockway Medical Centre at Nailsea. 

As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire you’ll provide a high level of care and support to vulnerable people, enabling them to live the life they choose. You’ll assist with daily tasks including personal care, medication and assistance at mealtimes, motivating and encouraging choice and participation.
