An invitation to a Christmas tea party
We would like to invite you to a Christmas tea party in Nailsea on Friday, December 27, when traditional Christmas fare will be served.
Lynda Dicks is organsing the jolly afternoon at Holy Trinity church lounge supported by a band of helpers.
We are hoping to welcome those without family living close by who may have spent the Christmas holidays alone.
Chef Scott Dyer is in charge of the catering and musical entertainment will include a joyous Christmas sing-a-long.

TOWN TALK: The windows have gone in the refurbished retail unit on Nailsea High Street as we ponder who is going to buy/lease the old Barclay's bank premises which have been empty since July 2021. On a brighter note the new Banking Hub is so busy it may be recruiting extra staff soon. Coates House has just been awarded a 5 star food hygiene rating and this restaurant along with Paradiso and looking forward to welcoming mums (and grandmothers) this month. And as an aside a little bird told us planning permission for 40 flats on the derelict old Weston College site is likely to be granted this week however without a 'shared ownership' scheme in place like the successful ones in Bristol and other communities in North Somerset work is unlikely to start immediately. Do you know this planning 22/P/1296/FUL was first submitted in May 2022 although it has since been amended a few times...watch this space
