Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy another hugely successful Nailsea Carnival, as the town came together for a day of colour, creativity, entertainment and community spirit.
Organised by 1st Nailsea Scouts and the Carnival Committee, with support from Nailsea Town Council, this year's carnival once again showcased the incredible talent, enthusiasm and generosity of local schools, community groups, businesses and volunteers.
One of the day's highlights was the carnival procession, which featured an impressive range of imaginative floats and costumes.
The judges had a difficult task selecting the winners from such a high standard of entries.

The carnival also demonstrated the generosity of the Nailsea community. More than £800 was raised through the carnival bucket collection in support of the Community Larder, helping the local charity continue its valuable work supporting residents.
A carnival spokesperson said: "It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the carnival and supporting the local community.
"The creativity shown in the procession was outstanding, and the generosity of everyone who donated to the Community Larder was truly inspiring.
"Events like this simply wouldn't happen without the hard work of our volunteers, participants, sponsors and everyone who came along to support the day."
The organisers would like to thank everyone who took part, attended, volunteered, sponsored the event or helped behind the scenes. Their dedication and community spirit made this year's carnival another memorable occasion for Nailsea.
Plans are already underway for next year's carnival, with organisers hoping to build on this year's fantastic success.
